Interested persons should download and fill out the employment application and submit it to the Sheriffs Dept in person, by fax or by mail.

You MUST submit these additional articles when turning in your application.

• Valid AR Drivers License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Birth Certificate or Certificate of Naturalization
• Social Security Administration Number (SSA Card)
• Military Separation -DD214 (If applicable)

Qualifications

• Must live within 30 minutes of White County line
• Jailer must be 18 years of age, Deputy must be 21 years of age
• Background history will be checked for:
  • Driving Record
  • Drug Use
  • Theft
  • Criminal History
  • Past Employment
